There isn't much complicated about the applilcation. It is merely a "shim" that invokes the desired book and chapter once you've specified it by using the URL parameters to access my favorite on-line bible (biblegateway.com.)

I am playing with a few of the URL options though and you can use these to customize your experience. For example, my current reading version of the Bible is the NASB. However, by adding the url parameter "ver=nn" to the invocation you can change this. For example, if you want to use the New King James version instead, simply invoke this webapp with:

http://www.ayefon.com/bible/books.cfm?ver=50

To get the proper "version" number to use, just go to http://www.biblegateway.com and lookup a passage selecting your favorite version. Note the version number in the URL. Use that same number here as the "ver" parameter. I'm just passing it through.

Also, if you want to limit your choices to just the New Testament, you can add the "NT" URL paramter thus:

http://www.ayefon.com/bible/books.cfm?NT&ver=50

instead. LIkewise for the Old Testament use "OT".
